Course Content

HTML5 & CSS3 Essentials introduces learners to the foundational building blocks of the web—teaching them how to structure content using semantic HTML tags and bring it to life with styled layouts, typography, and responsive design features through CSS3.

JavaScript Basics & DOM Manipulation introduces learners to core programming concepts like variables, functions, loops, and events, then brings websites to life by teaching how to interact with and dynamically update HTML elements using the Document Object Model (DOM).

Responsive Design with Flexbox & Grid empowers learners to build adaptable, mobile-friendly layouts using CSS Flexbox and Grid—modern layout systems that allow developers to align, position, and scale elements fluidly across different screen sizes using a mobile-first approach and media queries

Introduction to Git & GitHub guides learners through the essentials of version control using Git and the collaborative power of GitHub—teaching them how to track changes in code, manage repositories, and confidently collaborate with others through commits, branches, and pull requests, all while building a strong foundation for modern software development workflows

Overview of Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS introduces learners to two popular front-end frameworks that streamline web development—Bootstrap with its ready-made components and responsive grid system, and Tailwind CSS with its utility-first approach that empowers rapid, custom design—helping students choose and implement the right toolkit for their design needs and project goals.

Capstone Project + Portfolio Upload challenges learners to apply everything they’ve learned by building a fully responsive, multi-page website from scratch—integrating HTML, CSS, and JavaScript—then packaging it into a personal online portfolio hosted on GitHub Pages or Netlify to showcase their skills to potential employers, clients, or collaborators.
